The Coaching Staff at SC Gjøa strongly recommends a recovery routine in order to prevent injuries and also to promote muscle and joint recovery after games and practices. Below is a link to a video of one such routine that we endorse. The player in this video, Ryan Giggs, added years to his career by following these methods. After practices or games, or even on off days, this routine, which uses elements of yoga, would really benefit your player - please make sure that if this routine is not performed immediately after soccer, some light activity is needed in order to get the blood pumping to all the muscles.
