STA are thrilled to announce a partnership with Brooklyn-based travel club SC GJØA to become the exclusive training partners of their elite travel teams. Having been established as a sports club for over 100 years ago, SC GJØA has a proud tradition of soccer in New York and is currently one of the largest soccer programs in Brooklyn with over 500 players involved on a yearly basis.
"Our travel teams have been coached by the brilliant SONE SOCCER coaches for nearly three years, therefore the partnership with STA was an easy decision," said SC GJØA Athletic Director, James Svendsen. "This agreement allows our elite players the opportunity to play the best teams in Region 1 and I look forward to this partnership growing in the coming years."
"There is such a huge pool of talent in Brooklyn and we feel STA is the perfect addition to the great work already achieved at SC GJØA," said STA Director of Coaching Shane Bullock. "By partnering with STA, SC GJØA teams will be exposed to the top leagues, top tournaments and the best trainers. This is a fantastic agreement for all involved and we can't wait to help the players achieve their goals."
This agreement comes hot on the heals of STA becoming a PUMA Total Concept Club (TCC) and further cements STA's position as the leading provider of elite soccer on the East Coast.
